CCDTL (F. Gerigk)
- one module prepared for bead-pull and high-power,
- 2nd module still leaking at one coupling cell, strategy is defined,
- JM needs cooling scheme for drift tubes and coupling cells from FG,
- we need the manifolds from Alexey,
- JM will talk to Catherina Bertoni for transport questions: tunnel transport or in and out of bunker,
status at BINP (F. Gerigk)
- module #4 already packed for the shipment,
- drift tubes of the module #5 completed and ready to be mounted in the half-tanks for rf-measurements,
- drift tubes of the module #6 ready for the final EB-welding with the stems (EB-welding should start this week),
- drift tubes of the module #7 being machined.
- Support frame of the module #4 has been welded,
- parts of all other supports have been machined.
testing in SM18 (F. Gerigk)
- charger will re-installed in SM18 and restarted on 12.11 at 10:00, Jose will contact Pierre to operate the klystron and other RF auxiliaries (ion pump, cooling, circulator, RF dummy load, cavity), JM will supervise during Jose's holidays
PIMS (R. Wegner)
- machines in NCBJ were occupied until Monday for internal production
- 10 rings (M+N) nearly ready for welding of ports (2 are being cleaned), will be sent to Julich
- ring M_1-2: defect confirmed, will be sent for repair to Julich
- disc M_6-7 repaired by CPL, will be measured in metrology Tuesday (Gregory on vacations Monday)
- machining tests on ring G_1-2 promising,
- ring M_13-14 gently machined, results satisfactory, only coaxiality between inside+ assembly diameter and outside difficult (re-clamping)
- ring M_13-14: final machining Tuesday; decision taken to open side 14 by 30 um in order to avoid re-machining of end disc M_14
- ring G_13-14: will be finished after ring M_13-14. Length has been re-machined, assembly diameter still need to be improved
- end disc M_14: to minimise risks, no re-machining of assembly diameter, will stay 524.751 (instead of 524.720+0-0.025), no problems if ring M_13-14 is opened on side 14 by 30 um
- waveguide ring M has been machined to +1 mm overlength
- 4 standard discs waiting for TOS to become ready for drilling of cooling channels and final machining
- tendering for turning / milling block started last Friday (26th). 40 days open. Installation of machine foreseen to be finished in February 2013, first operations foreseen for March 2013 (training)
- short module: 1. M_14 ready, 2. metrology of M_6-7, 3. Rings are being final machined, delivery to CERN foreseen in Nov. 2012
- interest to machine support spacers as production processes already known, estimate being prepared
