• DTL design: discussion about the distance between Tank1 and Tank2 required to install quadrupole, diagnostic and steerer.(SuitbertRamberger)
• Bead Pull measurements on the Cold Model have been done in order to improve the bead pulling procedure. Check of (see bead_pull_test.xls):
  • effect of the NVA smoothing option on the field shape
  • different bead sizes: 3.5mm diameter sphere allows to reduce the noise and to apply the linear approximation for field calculation
  • effect of the motor control: control is necessary because the drive shaft is bended by the transmission elastic
  • wire stretching improves the noise in the central part of the measurement. (GiovanniDeMichele, FrancescoGrespan)
