Survey/alignment (F. Gerigk)

• During a discussion with M. Jones and A. Dallocchio the remaining open issues regarding alignment could be clarified. Alignment tests are being prepared where arms and inter-cavity supports are mounted and dismounted to check what kind of alignment error this incurs for the position of the targets.

• The PIMS prototype needs to go back to the workshop, so that the precision pin holes can be added for the alignment arms and the inter-tank support.

India (F. Gerigk)

• RRCAT starts the process to procure plasma welding equipment,
• we should prepare material delivery for 2 couplers, welding tests, and a pre-series of jacks,

CCDTL (F. Gerigk)

• received a more detailed cost estimate from BINP,
• still waiting for an estimate from the CERN workshop,

Windows (F. Gerigk)

• received an update cost for the revised window design from design, a paper version should arrive next week

DTL (S. Ramberger)

• Cooling channels on the end walls are too close to inner tank surfaces. In order to better integrate them in a way that they would also not interfere with the intertank connections, it is currently considered to introduce a conic shape on the half drift tube where it connects to the end wall. Simulations are on-going.

PIMS (R. Wegner)

• welding tests done in Juelich finished, pieces sent to CERN today
• IPJ: Problem with tuning machine CTX 510, some internal parts need to be replaced. Parts will be replaced next week.
• IPJ: Problem with subcontractor who does the nickel plating (of stainless steel flanges before brazing)
• IPJ: Tools for final machining are still not delivered
• IPJ: Some tools to the machining of tuner and RF ports are still missing
• IPJ: Foreseen schedule update: parts for test module ready to be sent to Juelich: end May
• IPJ: Parts for test module will not be ready before end of June, unfortunately
• Brazing of tuners and tuner ports is on the way

PIMS (P. Ugena)

• Tuning ring simulations continue for module 2
