CCDTL (F. Gerigk)
- JM: vacuum tests on the Helicoflex joints (CC) continue
- JM + JMB: high-power: started, up to now 50 us, ~20-30 kW, interlock at 5x10-6
- Mohammad: bead-pull of tank3: shows that average E0 of all 3 cavities is within 3%
- metrology of module 3: the average beam axis is within an envelope of -+0.1 mm with only one value at +0.16 mm
- inter cavity supports are at ~+0.25 mm and can still be corrected with magnet supports
Movable tuners (F. Gerigk)
- INFN asked if scotch brite can be used to achieve an Ra of 0.4 on the piston tuner surface. This was refused with the comment that the surface roughness can be slightly relaxed (0.4 - 0.8).
High power test stands (T. Muranaka)
- we have visited X-band test stand (Xbox1).
- Some parts of their acquisition and logging system based on LabView could be useful for L4 high power test.
- I would have a meeting with the developer of the system asap and see how to adopt their system to ours.
PIMS (J-M. Giguet, R. Wegner)
- Vacuum and pressure test of disc G_2-3 at CERN.
- Metrology report of rings M_13-14 and G_13-14 received. They do not look too good. Deep analysis is being done. Strategy: let the rings be repaired as good as possible and let them be shipped to CERN quickly to complete the short module and if possible to give the green light for disc finishing.
