HOM

• Simulation results on the HOM effect for different code inputs are ready in a paper for PAC09 (FrankGerigk). (Link FR5REP053.pdf)

PIMS

• The Metrologie Service did the first analysis of the e-beam welding test made by Soltan Institut (PL):
  • Welding penetration of 7 mm.
  • 2/4 analysed sections present defects on the welding, maybe due to copper impurities.
  • Report EDMS 995807 available at https://edms.cern.ch/document/995807/1
• PIMS prototype building postponed to March 2010 for a problem with the workshop machine.(FrankGerigk)

DTL

• Power coupler: new Power Coupler dimension for DTL is under checking with different simulation methods in MWS (GiovanniDeMichele)
• Bead pull measurements show that Cold Model needs to be realigned (probably disassembled) in order to validate first PC stabilization results from the equivalent circuit. (FrancescoGrespan)
