• Two different drift tubes manufacturing processes were shown at visit in Novosibirsk
  • brazing of the tip of the DT (instead of EBW) seems a good solution
• EBW of connection between tubes and stems assures better control of the alignement, than brazing of this connection

PIMS

• Low power measurement
  • field flatness within +/- 2% without tuners
  • found procedure to flat the field by adjusting tuners
• 50% less EB welds needed in series production: a good offer was done by Juelich
• HFSS and MWS simulations with coupling slots in progress
