• The deviations on the tank manufacturing have been clarified. Due to limited (but still high) precision of their milling machines, it is confirmed that CADINOX is not capable to fully guarantee the tight tolerances on the vertical location of the top surface with respect to the central axis. The variation will thus need to be compensated on the inter-segment ring. Final manufacturing on the other segments can resume where interrupted.
• The inspection of the independent weld inspector concerning the repair on T1S2 and T3S3 has taken place on Monday. The report has not been issued yet. Depending on the result, the segments might need to be repaired again or T1S2 can be delivered to CERN.

PIMS (R. Wegner)

• the brazing of fixed tuners started
• rings of module M and N have been welded in Julich
• a good offer for the support spacer and shims has been received. Production will be launched next week.
