Power Splitter

  • Discussion on the paper on the asymmetric Power Divider: the paper describe a 2:1 power splitter, but for our purpose the splitter asymmetry should be lower
  • MWS and HFSS simulations are started
  • possibility to do measurements in a LEP power splitter in some weeks

Bead-Pulling Program

  • Updating LabVIEW programs for bead pull measurements: work in progress for real time data acquisition.


  • Prototype: after 4 drift-tubes installed, the vacuum level is good
  • Post coupler equivalent circuit:
    • report on the equivalent circuit results is available
    • the optimum post coupler length for DTL prototype will be calculated using dispersion curves simulated by HFSS.


  • 12% coupling factor enhancement has been verified with the new slot geometry for the high energy case (minutes of the kick-off meeting are on-line)
