General

  • Meeting with support and alignments people to establish how to make the support for the structures: support and alignment
    • PIMS: the solution will be an alignment table between feet and cavity in the same way as in the 3MeV test stand (CERN made)
    • all the other structure will have a similar solution as in LHC with larger feet using industrial jacks,
  • CCDTL: for this structure the quadrupoles will seat on the same frame of the modules
  • PIMS&DTL: all the elements between tanks (magnets, diagnostics, etc) will sit on an L shaped support fixed directly to the end-wall of each tank

DTL

  • prototype measurements done to get the frequencies we need to calculate the right PC length with the circuital model. To check if the stabilization works some measurements with a perturbating object (a metallic pipe) are going to be performed

  • LabVIEW application builder to create stand-alone executables

Power Splitter - Magic T

  • an asymmetric power splitter can be achieved by shifting the central post in the horizontal plane
  • other S-parameters have to be adjusted: further simulations are going to be performed by changing the height and maybe the position of the other two posts
