Other (F. Gerigk)
- Linac4 activities entered into LS1 planning tool
CCDTL (F. Gerigk)
- all 3 half tank joints of module 3 seem to be leaking
Helicoflex (F. Gerigk)
- table in preparation with JM,
India (F. Gerigk)
- Purushottam is not reachable,
movable tuners (F. Gerigk)
SM18 (J-M. Giguet)
- place is now fenced, floor will be painted,
- assembly support should be ready next week, metrology will be checked by Mark (JM),
PIMS (R. Wegner)
- Ring G_13-14 has arrived after repair, cosmetic welds have considerable indentations in slop out area but the ring can be used for a cavity. Some repair is needed – mainly the inside diameter 518.720 mm, the assembly diameter 524.720 mm and the flatness of length 139.028 mm. Ring is shipped to NCBJ.
- Samples for new (5th) welding qualification with cosmetic pass have arrived. 1 sample is being re-machined to a thickness of 4 mm and will be X-ray analysed. The other sample will be cut to analyse the entire welding root.
- Tooling for vacuum test is being discussed, Luca found a good solution where the same stainless steel covers (~ 30 kg) can be used to testing discs and rings – by using different spacers.
- The design of fixed tuners for waveguide couplers is being discussed. If OFE copper (not forged) can be accepted for brazing, all 31 fixed tuners (including spares) will have the same copper piston length of 196 mm.
- Remark from discussions of intertank connections: flanges of PIMS cavity 1 shall be fixed with screws M8 of type A4-100 while screws M10 of type A4-70 shall be used for all other PIMS cavities (including debuncher).
- Pictures of PIMS production send by Marek on May 11th: https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/pub/SPL/PIMS_pisc_week_17to19/DSC_0120.JPG, https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/pub/SPL/PIMS_pisc_week_17to19/DSC_0121.JPG, https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/pub/SPL/PIMS_pisc_week_17to19/DSC_0122.JPG
