* TT7 is used for radioactive material and can be interlocked when the SPL is running, the radioactivity of TT7 will not prevent digging the SPL tunnel,

* TTL2 is no longer used, the machine elements are being dismantled and right now there only a few magnets left in this loop,

* TT2a (nTOF) will no longer be used once the SPL and PS2 is running, during construction of the SPL one will have to interface the building works for the SPL with the operation of that line. Basically this means that we will have to dig and install the SPL in this area during the shut-downs. Also it is not known at present if nTOF will still operate once we build the SPL.

* TP9 is a technical gallery and is used for cables between the PS and the building 513, right now it is not clear if these cables will still be needed when the SPL is in operation. If they are needed one would have to restrict access to this area during SPL operation (to be confirmed if this can be done).
