Introduction

The HGTD production database is for recording, storing and retriving of the information about the components used in the production of the HGTD modules.

Information to be stored :

• Detail information of the components used :
  • Production
  • Metrology
  • Operational properties
  • Link to next object
  • Visual inspection
  • Destructive tests
  • History and Quality Control

• Information on production quality control of the components / modules
  • Which sites the components / modules are produced at
  • Tests being performed
  • Components / Modules passing / failing tests

• Location of where the modules are installed in the detector

Inputing and retrieving of information :

• Create a Web browsing interface to allow viewing and inputing of information via a web pagw
  • Develop applications to perform these actions
• Develop scripts that can also allow the inputing and retrieving of information using a command line in a terminal window
