BPlus Trigger Analysis


The basic physical principle underlying the implementation of the trigger logic relies on the selection of events with muons coming from the interaction vertex having a large transverse momentum (pT). This idea is translated in trigger language requiring the identification of the candidate muon tracks with a pT greather than a given threshold [1].

We have two treshold regimes for muon triggers :

  • The high pT regime, around 20-40 GeV tresholds and for heavy objects searchers.
  • The low pT triggers, around 6,8,10 GeV for a specialised b-physics studies
