- Instructions for including EFT parameters into madgraph

1) First need to get dimension 8 operators from the Eboli Model.

2) From web page: http://feynrules.irmp.ucl.ac.be/wiki/AnomalousGaugeCoupling#no1

3) get file April2020.tgz or copy file from : /raid03/users/abbott/madgraph-muoncollider/MG5_aMC_v2_7_2/April2020.tgz

4) Exexute the following Instructions:

>tar xvzf April2020.tgz (this will create directory SM_Ltotal_Ind5v2020v2_UFO)

>mkdir mymodel

>cd mymodel

> cp ../SM_Ltotal_Ind5v2020v2_UFO/*.* .

cd ..

5)Go to the madgraph interactive directory


import model mymodel

generate mu+ mu- > w+ w- a QCD=0 T0=1 M0=0 M1=0 M2=0 M3=0 M4=0 M5=0 M6=0 M7=0 T1=0 T2=0 T5=0 T6=0 T7=0 @1

output mumuwwaeft


>cd mumuwwaeft

>cd Cards

>cp /raid03/users/abbott/madgraph-muoncollider/MG5_aMC_v2_7_2/mumuww/Cards/delphes_card_MuonColliderDet.tcl . (This was the card mentioned in Scarlet's talk)

>cp delphes_card_MuonColliderDet.tcl delphes_card.dat

>mkdir MuonCollider

>cd MuonCollider

>cp /raid03/users/abbott/madgraph-muoncollider/MG5_aMC_v2_7_2/mumuww/Cards/MuonCollider/*.* . (cp the eight .tcl files from MuonCollider git repository MuonCollider)

>cd ..

6) Edit run_card.dat :

- change dynamical_scale_choice=3

- edit param_card.dat

- change FT0 to 1e-20

7) cd ../..

8) ./bin/mg5_aMC

launch mumuwwaeft





cross sections in pb

This gives a cross section of .00345 run_01 FT0:1e-20

2.53e4 run_02 FT0:1e-11

2.53 run_03 FT0:1e-13
