End of Shift Tasks

At the end of your shift please

  • Fill in the muon shift summary, using the provided template which can be found here, and post it to elog using the Message Type Shift Summary --> Muons.
  • Inform your replacement shifter on runs taken during your shift, the current status and any problems encountered during your shift.
  • Do not leave before your replacement arrives.
  • If your replacement is late by more than 20 minutes, inform the shift leader and call the muon shift phone number to arrange for somebody else.
  • If your shift was the 7am to 15pm one, attend the daily muon data quality meeting at 15:10h in building 3150 (barracks to the left of the entrance/gate to P1). There are no meeting during the weekends!

Please regularly close unused windows and programs, you can get lost or run out of memory easily otherwise!
