GoodRunList and Luminosity (new)

The GRL used for this analysis is combining GRLs from tauCP (here) and WZ observation group (here). Only Runnumbers and Lumiblocks which exist in both GRLs are taken.

With end of 2010 a new COOL tag repro05 for the new (v16 - autumn) reprocessed data samples was created. In the new reprocessing many run problems were fixed. Furthermore the WZ group revised their data quality flags going into to GRL. This affects also the GRLs for the v15 data samples.

Notes:

  • G6: runs 166305 and 166383 are missing in the GRL, because some CSC sectors were off. This results in a loss of 1.3 pb-1 for period G6.
  • A-G: If you loop just over certain periods you can calculate the int. luminosity just by adding up the numbers from the periods you are looping over.
  • F: EF_e10_loose and EF_mu4 are prescaled since F1, EF_mu6 since F2!!
  • E: Trigger EF_e5_medium is prescaled and not listed in the table anymore.
  • Watch out the GRLs were obtained by merging different GRLs to one. The first few lines do not show the full query applied!
  • Calculation of luminosity was done with the trigger from the table and OflLumi-7TeV-002 tag using LumiBlockComps-00-03-03. (How to do use is explained here). If the luminosity calculated with the electron channel trigger differ significantly from those calculated with the muon channel trigger both numbers are listed in the table.

GoodRunList and Luminosity (prev)

The GRL used for this analysis is combining GRLs from tauCP (Good Tau from here) and WZ observation group (StandardGRL.WZcommon from here, which is also used for the Z → τ τ → lep lep analysis). Only Runnumbers and Lumiblocks which exist in both GRLs are taken.

If WZcommon GRL is not available or the DQ flags are not finalized, WZcommon is preliminary replaced by WZ egamma produced by Corinne (posted on wz-observation sharepoint) and WZ muon produced by Alberto (announced here). In this case the cp_met_metcalo and cp_met_muon part is queried by me using http://atlas-runquery.cern.ch/ and the right flags.

Watch out the GRLs were obtained by merging different GRLs to one. The first few lines do not show the full query applied!

Notes:

  • trigger EF_tauNoCut_hasTrk_e10_tight is activated since period G4

  • ABC: For period A,B,C two GRLs were maintained one combining GRLs from tauCP + MET CP + WZ egamma and a second from tauCP + MET CP + WZ muon. Combination obtained with TauGRL from here, MET GRL from here and pick the jetetmiss_7TeV, configuration with the right version of the flags and run range and WZ egamma produced by Corinne (posted on egamma sharepoint) and WZ muon produced by Alberto (distributed on WZ muon hypernews atlas-cp-muon-wz-observation@cernNOSPAMPLEASE.ch and here).
  • Calculation of luminosity was done with the trigger from the table and OflLumi-7TeV-002 tag using LumiBlockComps-00-01-08. (How to do use is explained here). If the luminosity calculated with the electron channel trigger differ from those calculated with the muon channel trigger both numbers are listed in the table.
