Current HP-PS parameters
Two options are currently under study based on the same ring optics. The 50
GeV option is considered as the baseline and the 75
GeV option is our alternative. The 50
GeV option is more demanding with respect to the beam dynamics (collective effects), while the 75
GeV option has a more demanding magnet technology (high field and high ramp rate). Two injection schemes are proposed using a foil and a laser.
