Offline DQM shifts

Basic Shift Rules and Policies

Shift blocks

  • 4 daily time slots of 6 hours each: 07-13 (CERN) , 13-19 (DESY) , 19-01 (FNAL) , 01-07 (FNAL) - all times given in Geneva time.
  • Select shifts in blocks of 4 or 3 starting Mondays and Fridays resp. Note: CERN rules do allow to do 7 shifts of 6 hours each in a row.
  • Standard central shift rules and credits apply (see above), the credit points are scaled by 6/8 reflecting the reduced number of hours. All offline shifts are daytime, with corresponding crediting.
  • Minimum of 14 shifts is required per person in 2011.
