Tournament

Depending on the level there will be 4 groups.

• Beginners
• Intermediate
• Good
• Experts

The teams that make up each group are the ones responsible to talk to the rest of the teams of the group and agree in a date and time to play the match.

Every team should play once against all the rest of the teams in his group

In order to play a match a reservation needs to be made. Please find information about courts below

DEADLINE OF THE TOURNAMENT: All the matches should be played before 21th October. If you didn't play the matches by this time your position will be the one you have with the games played until the date.

Match

A match ends when a team wins 2 sets. All the sets must be finished by a tie break in case it's necessary, being 7 the maximum number of games a team can win.

A match has not a specific duration. You can book courts in periods of 1h. You have two options:

• Book one hour and try to finish the match during this hour. If you don't finish you can decide the winner from the team who is winning when the time expired. (my suggested choice)
• Book 2h so you have plenty of time to play the match

Padel is like tenis in terms of score. For those who deesn't know very well about either padel or tennis here are some links that might be helpful

After a match

Send email to javier.pablos.abelairas@cernNOSPAMPLEASE.ch (remove the SPAMNOT part that is added by this TWIKI service)

After playing a match (which means you agreed in a date and time to play, you booked the court in advance in order to have availability for the desire date and time and finally you played the match), both teams are responsible to send me an email with the result so I can update the standings. Please provide information about the level of the other team so I can have feedback in order to make a better arrangement of the groups.

In summary, send me an email with the information shown in the following example:

MyTeam: PadelTeam1

Opponent Team: PadelTeam2

Result: 2-1 (meaning My Team got 2 sets and Opponent Team got 1 set)

Level you think the opponent team has: 2

Padel Courts

There is free parking (you have to put the blue time wheel), changing rooms with shower and a bar :)

Court price: 20CHF/h, that is 10CHF per team per match
