E/p and Cell Ordering

There are 3 steps in the E/p code flow:

1. ESD to xAOD

Current version of code can be found at https://gitlab.cern.ch/mhodgkin/athena/tree/eflowRec_radialEnergyDensityProfileDevelopment

Development for E/p completed, but work for Cell Ordering (in the same package) is in progress.

2. xAOD to flat n-tuple

Current version of code can be found at https://gitlab.cern.ch/ahostiuc/PFlow-EoverP-Ntuple-Code (update in progress)

The output is a small n-tuple with limited information, just enough to create the interesting plots to determine <E/p> and sigma (E/p) below.

3. flat n-tuple to plots

Current version of code can be found at https://gitlab.cern.ch/ahostiuc/particle-flow-eoverp-code

The output is a large number of plots, specifically E/p distributions, as well as <E/p> and sigma(E/p) summary plots.

Instructions on how to run the code are currently at https://docs.google.com/document/d/1C61-MJryZikOISsM3hjbAH9uiiWnrCs7G-is78V8Y3g (to be updated using the above code).

Cell Ordering

Current status of Cell Ordering (March 30th, 2017):

Development of code to produce an xAOD that contains all required information from an ESD is in progress (https://gitlab.cern.ch/mhodgkin/athena/tree/eflowRec_radialEnergyDensityProfileDevelopment).

Afterwards, the code for steps 2 and 3 from the E/p section will be modified to also create interesting plots/fits for Cell Ordering Studies.
