Pixel Clean room DCS

* Set ALLOWTOPICVIEW = cern-users

The goal of the twiki is to document information about DCS project for pixel clean rooms.

Current projects

As of 25.01.2019 we have move both projects servers.

FPix CMS_TRK_DCS_FPIX_2019

BPix CMS_TRK_DCS_BPIX_2019

backups are located:

\\cern.ch\dfs\Projects\CMSTRKDCS\Fpix Backup 28_01_2019
\\cern.ch\dfs\Projects\CMSTRKDCS\Bpix Backup 28_01_2019

Database

At the moment CMS_TRKCR_PVSS_COND from CMS_OMDS_LB is used for FPix project. The new database in int2r has been requested.

Current issues and status

add dew point to PLC for both projects

reinstallation of framework components with the new version (we still have components from 3.11 installation)

insert new aliases to the database

fix CAEN heartbeat (Anna)

archive PLC read relays

check panic in the PLC

OPC servers still not working

set up lunch SMS on both projects

Identification of CAEN channels and PLC sensors

PLC sensors are identified per half cylinder, with the following agreement:

Half Cylinder ID
BmI 1
BmO 2
BpI 3
BpO 4
IDs are stored .currentCoordinate data point elements.

Coordinates of CAEN channels are stored in the format XYZ where

X=1,2,3,4 is half cylinder, accordingly BmI,BmO,BpI,BpO.
Y=0,1,3,4,5,6,7,8 is a sector S1,.., S8 accordingly, and 0 indicates that this is CCU.
Z=0,1,2 is a layer, where LAY14 -> 1 ,LAY23 -> 2, 0 indicates it is controlled power.
