• Repair: Supermicro excepts products up to 3 years after original selling date, the cost for repair strongly depends on the defect parts, with a defect north / south bridge prices can go up to 100 US$, they always give out a repair price before repairing the part. For power supplies modules like PWS-0044M we have count on repair prices like ~ 65-70 US $
• Component obsolescense:
  • MB: X6DHE-XB is obsolete -> use X7DB8-X
  • CPU: 3.4 GHz is obsolete. -> 17.6.2008 3.2 GHz available from Boston but difficult to get
  • PSU (602 / 302) is obsolete -> use PWS-0050 with PWS-0050M modules
