Training web site

Purpose

The site should host the information for the e-learning courses. At the moment we are planning the first course, but if it is successful we expect that we have several of them.

Visual aspect

The site should look familiar to the CMS users, it could be based on the conference site https://cms-mgt-conferences.web.cern.ch/cms-mgt-conferences/Default.aspx or on the public CERN sites

Contents

The site should contain

1. main page
   • a list of available e-learning courses and their short description
   • access allowed for all CMS collaborators
   • possibility of inscription?
2. working area of each e-learning course
   • access limited to the people inscribed to a course
   • contains:
     • schedule and contents: link to indico (slides, twiki, EVO recordings)
     • user wiki (user project presentation, logbook)
     • discussion area
     • possibility to upload homework files (visible only to the participant and admins)
     • management area (course description, course organization) - access limited to the teaching team.
