Sherpa in Gauss

The Sherpa interface to Gauss consists mainly of two packages which are checked in as Gen/LbSherpa and Gen/SherpaDatFiles

How can I use Sherpa in Gauss?

First thing to do: Login to lxplus, go to your cmtuser directory, and get Gauss.

SetupProject Gauss v37r3 --build-env
cd ~cmtuser/Gauss_v37r3
getpack Sim/Gauss v37r3

Now we will get the Sherpa packages. Gen/LbSherpa is the interface itself. There are interfaces which allow the usage of Sherpa as DecayTool and as ProductionTool. It is planned to implement an interface for Sherpa as Production and DecayTool in the same time.

getpack Gen/LbSherpa
Gen/SherpaDatFiles is the directory which holds the steering and decay files for Sherpa.

Gen/sherpa is a pseudo interface which overrides the settings of Sherpa which are defined by the LCG interface.
