  • study resolutions in direction, momentum and transverse momentum for Reco Jets wrt associated truth partons
  • study whether the parton associated to the probe jet comes from hard scatter, 1st radiative process, 2nd radiative process etc.
  • study fake rate in dependance on truth jet type (quark, gluon, b-jet) [in progress]
  • select jets from 1st radiative process and study delta pT and delta R to jet from hard scatter [in progress]

[Michel]

  • adjust topological requirements to specific physics analyses (ie. Z->tautau, H->tautau or taus from ttbar)
  • produce ntuples from dijet samples with reco tag r635_t53 in release 14.5.1 [DONE]

short term

  • migrate FakeRate code to SVN repository [Michel]
  • study # jets with Et larger than probe jet
  • study environment of probe jet (ie. DR to jet with Et-max, DR to closest other jet, DR to trigger jet)

long term

  • implement photon tagging [Michel]
  • study truth particle composition of fake jets [IN PROGRESS / Mathias]
  • introduce safecuts tau id as option in addition to tauRec LLH and tau1p3p DiscCut [DONE]

setup for ntuple dumping in release 14.5.1

  • setup release 14.5.1 and go to testarea
  • check out tauRec with cmt co -r tauRec-03-07-92-50 Reconstruction/tauRec and compile
  • check out EventviewUserData with cmt co -r EventViewUserData-14-04-07 PhysicsAnalysis/EventViewBuilder/EventViewUserData
  • copy /afs/naf.desy.de/user/j/janus/public/rel14_5_1_setup/EVUDTauJetAll.cxx to PhysicsAnalysis/EventViewBuilder/EventViewUserData/src
  • compile EventViewUserData
  • check out TauDPDMaker with cmt co -r TauDPDMaker-00-03-07 PhysicsAnalysis/TauID/TauDPDMaker and compile
  • copy /afs/naf.desy.de/user/j/janus/public/rel14_5_1_setup/TertiaryDPD_ControlSampleTree.py , TertiaryDPD_EventViewCommonInput_Reco.py and TertiaryDPD_EventViewCommonInput_Truth.py to PhysicsAnalysis/TauID/TauDPDMaker/share/
  • copy /afs/naf.desy.de/user/j/janus/public/rel14_5_1_setup/example_jo.py and SetIsTauSetup.py to PhysicsAnalysis/TauID/TauDPDMaker/run
  • modify the job options to correspond to your input data and have fun running it
