Screenshot of the ROD Controller Tab:
- At present, the Main Control Register textarea shows the current mode of operation, i.e. Calibration, Physics etc. The register value is also shown - but this may change to reflect the meanings of the individual bits later on.
- The Spare Control Register information contains commands for resetting of various FIFO's and counters, as well as the frame sync offset for the MDSP Serial Port 1 (SP1), serial port masks and enables/interrupts for the MDSP, SDSP's and VME.
- The status of the TIM and BOC clocks, various FIFO's and the occupancy counters for the Front End (FE) modules are shown in the Main Status Register. When all modules have finished sending information to the Rod, the "FE occupancy counters all zero" flag should be set. The status of the command mask (ready or not) is also listed here.
- The Spare Status Register monitors the status of the S-Link, Slave DSP's, and acknowledgement of external interrupts.
- Finally, the Rod Busy Status box shows whether or not the Rod is reporting busy status, and if so what is causing it.
