Help the FastSim group to propagate developments of the HLT in the FastSim framework: update of configurations, follow-up of algorithm changes, update of scripts...Provide support for the validation of HLT in the RelVal FastSim samples.

The Trigger Performance Group is responsible for the monitoring of the trigger performances and validation of the trigger algorithms. The monitoring task is divided into online and offline DQM. A position as Trigger DQM co-coordinator is available in the online area. The trigger online DQM is concerned with providing immediate feedback about possible problems in the Level-1 Trigger as well as in the High Level Trigger during data taking. To achieve this, it is trigger performance group responsibility the coordination, testing, integration and operation of the monitoring code as well as partial development of the code in those areas that do not fall within the responsibilities of a given group or where manpower is not available.

Validation of RawToDigi-DigiToRaw (TMI)

Check regularly the digi -> raw -> digi chain and interact with the subsystem experts to solve problems.

Trigger Menu optimization (TMI)

Optimisation of the trigger menus (CPU performance, memory footprint): work together with HLT developers to ensure a fast rejection of background events. Test of the trigger menus in the online environment.
