Jet Resolution studies

Invisible Z background

Z-->nunu+jets represents an irreducible background to the SUSY search in the jets+met final state. It is be estimated using a number of data driven methods; Z(->ll)+jets, W(->lv)+jets and photon+jets. Determination of this background from the W and Z electron and muon channels is covered below.

Muon channel

Electron Channel

A data driven estimation of the Z invisible background using the electron channel is described in ZInvisibleElectron. It describes the event selection, electron tag and probe efficiencies, predicted event yields and a study of the systematics.

Table shows the estimated event yields for Z->nunu+jets for 10pb-1 of data using a looser (for now) version of the RA2 event selection.
