• Computing DataOps shifters are not in same place as others http://cmsonline.cern.ch/portal/page/portal/CMS%20online%20system/Shiftlist
  • same as above for CRC shifter
  • e-log sucks
  • CSP istruction twiki is way too long, it is nearly impossible to edit, need to split into 10 twikis plus a top one
  • same pages (same URL's) are referred to in the ComputingShift twiki with different names at various places, including the "look here for a colelction of links and then look at this link" but that link has a different name in the (nice!) link table
  • computing plan of the day page needs to link to previous ones
  • computing plans of the day should be on a common page for a week
  • need a ONE PAGE twiki which points to shift summaries, shift list, plan of the day
    • since I can't live without that I am building my own here
  • need an overall page with status of everything, drilling down capability, auto-refresh, eventually could generate alarms, i.e. the dashboard. Try a gridmap thing ?
  • Need a better way to monitor PhEDEx agents
    • current gridmap thing is an instant report
    • but it is normal that agents go down for up to 30miini and come back (fake alarms)
    • but if an agent (site) is down for >some time it does not make it red anymore (fake alarm-go-away)
      • this has to be changed for T1's !!
    • make agent health as sites part of SAM hourly checking ? And focus the PhEDEx box in the map on central instance services ? Need anyhow to provide some history.
    • at the very minimum need some effort to write good documentation for shifters
  • Checks for CAF/Castor are difficult to do sensibly (load aver varying, difficult to judge the health of the system), better make shifters look at history plots, not instant metrics, have to dig URL's and put on the page, seems an ideal task for the Overview project
