who is working on the electron systematics? size and influence on kappa

Source hadron triggers:

  • trigger turn on: my numerical estimate from folding MET distribution in bin A (waiting for francesco for now private estimate) and fits to turn on curves (AN-2011-410)
    • HT250_Mu15_PFMHT40: smaller (correlation in fit parameters neglected) than 0.2% (cross check on MC! needed) w/o plateau uncertainty
    • HT250_Mu15_PFMHT20: negligible with 60GeV MET cut
    • Ele15_HT250_PFMHT40: <0.3% w/o plateau uncertainty
    • Ele15_HT250_PFMHT25: negligible with 60GeV MET cut
      • PFMHT40 from run>172802 -> Lumi ~ 64% of total lumi (delivered from DAS)
      • HT300_Mu15_PFMHT40: -> Lumi ~ 1/2 13.4% of tot lumi
        • Bin A +- <= 0.2% on total sample for el and mu

  • had trigger efficiencies (bin A gets additional uncertainty from above)
    • HT250_Mu15_PFMHT40: uncertainty of plateau: 0.9798 +- 0.002771 = 0.28%
    • HT300_Mu15_PFMHT40: uncertainty of plateau: 0.9856 +- 0.003817 = 0.39%
    • HT250_Mu15_PFMHT20: uncertainty of plateau: 0.9853 +- 0.002315 = 0.23%
    • Ele15_HT250_PFMHT40: uncertainty of plateau: 0.9966 +- 0.002081 = 0.21%
    • Ele15_HT250_PFMHT25: uncertainty of plateau: 0.9957 +- 0.001628 = 0.16%

  • SF from b-tagging
    • old BTEV-11-001: 40-240GeV SF=0.94
    • new 0.962 0.04 ( BTV-11-003 Tab.3 WM in http://cms.cern.ch/iCMS/jsp/analysis/admin/analysismanagement.jsp?ancode=BTV-11-003)
      • what about pt? -- in BTV-11-003 tt sample ~ 72 GeV
      • 0.962+-10% for now ?????
    • linear model for event selection efficiency (our note AN-11-173 sec.6.6 based on /afs/naf.desy.de/user/n/npietsch/public/ABCD/, 2 Dec 2011 )
    • N_events = 1+f*SF
      • A,B,C,D 0,1,2,3 here 0 mean anti-b-tagged
