  • This page will serve as a summary for analysis related to testbeam studies performed for the Shashlik prototype.


Calibration Studies

  • Run over the individual modules(1 through 16) to obtain the individual fiber calibration constants:
    • python python/wolfe_moduleSingle.py 1
  • This will store the calibration constants into a calibModules.txt file
  • Now, how to calibrate the different modules....?
    • We have 16 modules, with 4 channels each, 64 channels total,
  • To Do:
    • Apply the 64 interfiber calibration constants
    • Calculate the average of all the 16 modules
      • If a module has a missing channel, add the average of the 3 working channels--> THEN calculate the average of the modules.
    • Calculate the module's calibration constant.
      • Write it to a txt file.
  • WORKING ON wolfe_moduleCalib.C to get it to read in the values and spit out the average values for module constants.
