2017 Efficiency of L1 Muon Trigger

Abstract

This document describes the performance of the CMS Level-1 muon trigger using all of tha data collected during 2017. The efficiency is greater than 90% for the dataset considered. This document includes a efficiency as a function of offline transverse momentum (pT) for several L1 trigger thresholds, efficiency as a function of eta and as a function of the number of reconstructed vertices. Last but not least a comparison between firmware and emulator is presented.
