Generally Offline histograms new runs (354944,355008,355053) are very similar to the last signed-off run (354893). One thing that I didnt understand is we have large number of HL hits (
Barrel) on track. Please find the following picture ;
This was probably due to
FastOR settings.
Also we I have examined the calibration of the last run, 355053 Time residuals and residuals seems fine but I got worried with the following picture of board time differences. In fact this was okay.
Calibration run 355053;
(From page 5 of the relevant calibration report)
Residual sigma ; BA: 0.127 BC: 0.127 EA: 0.130 EC: 0.129
Time residual mean ; BA: 0.088 BC: 0.131 EA: 0.180 EC: 0.108
Runs to be signed of;
354944 (ptag data18_13TeV, duration 1030.5m, 68597167 events, ATLAS Ready lumi 0.51/pb, ended Wed 08:56; calibration loop ends Fri 09:03),
355008 (ptag data18_13TeV, duration 227.3m, 23065627 events, ATLAS Ready lumi 71.63/nb, ended Wed 14:37; calibration loop ends Fri 14:43),
355053 (ptag data18_13TeV, duration 299.2m, 15243252 events, ATLAS Ready lumi 134.03/nb, ended Thu 00:28; calibration loop ends Sat 00:33):

July 6-7
We have two new runs to sign off;
355109 (ptag data18_13TeV, duration 1487.7m, 284673862 events, ATLAS Ready lumi 1.70/pb, ended Fri 13:04; calibration loop ends Sun 13:23)
355181 (ptag data18_13TeV, duration 545.6m, 193945772 events, ATLAS Ready lumi 0.92/pb, ended Fri 23:54; calibration loop ends Sun 23:54)
Generally we have same features as the last few runs;
A dip ~300 degrees in phi distribution due to gas flow,
Hihger HL Hit occupancy and HL on tracks due to FastOR,
Drift time on track (Barrel and EA) histograms are yellow but seems fine,
I am signing of these runs without defect.
For the Bulk processing we have following runs, Apart from the first one (254309) they look okay, same features with the express_express except the;
354309 It was signed off with TRT_BADCALIBRATION_MINOR in the ES1. Same Features exists but with the bulk they got worse. As if the new calibration is unfit for this run;
The reason might be radical changes in occupancy ;
I am keeping the TRT_BADCALIBRATION_MINOR. Yet I am not sure if we can recover this run with calibration.
For
Bulk
354826:
Almost same just xenon and argon sigmas got a bit better in the Bulk.
Signing of without defects
354863,354893,355008, 355053:
Drift time on track Hist turns yellow from green in bulk but histogram seems fine.

We have a new run to sign off;
355224 (ptag data18_13TeV, duration 771.2m, 274162094 events, ATLAS Ready lumi 1.03/pb, ended Sat 14:03; calibration loop ends Mon 14:23)
Generally we have same features as the last few runs;
A dip ~300 degrees in phi distribution due to gas flow,
Hihger HL Hit occupancy and HL on tracks due to FastOR,
Drift time on track (Barrel and EA) histograms are yellow but seems fine,
Just one thing that gets my attention is we have slightly higher HL occupancy around BC stack 25 (It also exist in older runs). Probably not an issue here.

I signed oft this run without defect.
For Bulk sign off we have the following runs;
354944
Drift time on track Hist turns yellow from green in bulk but histogram seems fine.
Other than that almost the same, just xenon and argon sigmas got a bit better in the Bulk.
Signing of without defects.
355109
Bulk processing is not finished yet.

We have two new runs to sign off;
355261 (ptag data18_13TeV, duration 923.4m, 35323561 events, ATLAS Ready lumi 232.79/pb, ended Sun 19:04; calibration loop ends Tue 19:22)

In these runs we have more occupancy than the runs before;
-- we have worse residuals;
355261 :
Barrel Xe sigma: 0.1359
Barrel Ar sigma: 0.1522
355273 :
Barrel Xe sigma: 0.145
Barrel Ar sigma: 0.1614
Example:
Time residuals mean deviations :
run 355273 Barrel Xe: , Barrel Ar 0.6386
run 355261 Barrel Xe: , Barrel Ar 0.6386
RT relations have some extra features;
Drift time histograms changed their shape;
In previous runs we had more HL hits on track only for Barrel. In the end cap they were consistent with the reference.
But now we have same effect in End caps also
All these changes are result of the High mu. Signed without defect.

Hello All,
Today we dont have any new run to sign off.
Calibration:

(side A) residual: 0.1651 mm T0 diff: -0.555 ns

Endcaps:
(side C) residual: 0.1897 mm T0 diff: -0.339 ns
(side A) residual: 0.1938 mm T0 diff: -0.253 ns
These residuals Can be explainable by the high mu these runs have.

Today we had only one run for ES1;
355331 (ptag data18_13TeV, duration 1894.9m, 234877942 events, ATLAS Ready lumi 95.83/pb, ended Wed 05:06; calibration loop ends Fri 05:22)
This run already flagged with TRT_DAQPROBLEMS_OTHER_MINOR defect due to cluster of bad straws.
For the BULK we had the following five runs; 355109 355181 355224 355261 355273
355261 355273: physics_Main stream was not ready.
355109 355181 355224 : were signed off without any defects. But I noticed few things.
Firstly what is puzzling me is that we have overall increase in HL and LL occupancy in Barrel And endcaps when we move
from ES1 to Bulk.
This is probably due to difference in express_express and physics_Main streams.
Secondly On the bulk we cen see that we have dip around phi 180 and a pronounced tip on phi 280.
Between the ES1 and bulk only plot gets worser flagging is the Drift time on track distribution.
Eg; I dont see a clear degradation between these plots (First from ES1 second Bulk of the same run).
But the side band value increased from 0.1385 to 0.1403. (We flagging the value bigger that 0.14 as red)
This is probably due to different references used in this two proccesings.
Calibration;
355331 (The run where we have 2 clusters of bad straws)
