Documentation For The Bad Components Calibration : Current Production Set Up

The Global Tag (GT), used for the given data taking:

 

• Go to the GTList tool (from the cond-db tools) to check what is the content of the Global Tag: https://cms-conddb.cern.ch/gtList/?GlobalTag=GR_E_V37

[Here as an example, we are using : April Global Run (AGR), the GT is GR_E_V37 (usually announced at AlcaDB weekly meeting, Run meeting, PPD meeting and Alca and DB HN fora)].)

• Look for AlcaRecoTriggerBitsRcd( there may be multiple ones):

The idea is that the one with AlcaRecoHLTPaths or similar is the right one to look into : In this case it is AlCaRecoHLTpaths8e29 _1e31_v7_hlt with last IOV 220850

 

 

The Trigger Bit:

 

• Please go to the https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/bin/view/CMSPublic/SWGuideAlCaRecoTriggerBits twiki and look for the tag in question.                                                                                          [Notice that there is a bug and you need to scroll down and click on the actual tag’s show more in order to access the IOVs, then pick the last (or relevant based on the last since you saw in the GTList tool above) ]
