n_TOF Data Dissemination

Experimental data are useful, they must be available and usable. Experimental data are unique, they must be preserved on long term.

Once the data are finalized, published and fully exploited, it is essential to make them widely available to all users in the fields of nuclear astrophysics and various nuclear technologies. In the latter fields, the international EXFOR database is known as the "Mother of all libraries" and is the ground for the development of all evaluated nuclear reaction libraries (particle transport, activation, dosimetry, standards, etc). The EXFOR database has been successfully maintained over decades by a worldwide network of Nuclear Reaction Data Centres (NRDC), which certainly makes EXFOR an appropriate place for efficient dissemination and preservation of n_TOF data.
