B2CC Stripping28

List and status of B2CC contribution for Stripping28 (full stripping for 2016 data, Run-II: stable 25ns conditions at 13 TeV).

  • IMPORTANT: The brem photons are not properly included in the track which affecting the momentum of electron tracks, so all stripping using electrons has been rerun in S28. ( Details)

How to claim for a (or include a new) stripping line

  • Send an email to Xuesong Liu indicating the line name, line type you want and special need if required.
  • If you want your line to go to FullDST, you need to justify why.
  • Unjustified requests of FullDST for a certain line will be rejected, and the line will go to MicroDST by default.

* Remember to remove the SPAMNOT from the email address.

Included lines

There are a total of 38 stripping lines:

  • Dimuon stream: 11 lines (FullDST),
  • Leptonic stream: 10 lines (MicroDST).
  • Bhardon stream: 17 lines(MicroDST)

Please remember that lines going to FullDST have not the FT algorithm enabled (all the information to run the FT is already there!)

Line types

In order of "cost" for the collaboration:

  • MicroDST:
    • MicroDST: only the selected candidate is saved, not the whole event. Meaning you cannot "add a pion" once the Stripping is done, but it is much cheaper for the Collaboration and faster for you to use.
    • MicroDST with Isolation information: only the selected candidate, including digest information on number and pT of tracks in a cone around the mother particle momentum is saved.
  • FullDST:
    • FullDST: the full reconstructed event is needed, however the raw event (hit positions, needed e.g. for re-rerunning tracking) is removed.
    • FullDST with partial Raw: the full reconstructed event is needed, some part of the raw event is needed.
      • Warning, important Those raw banks which are requested to be included must be specified : Trigger Raw, Muon Raw, Velo Raw, Tracker Raw or Isolation.
    • FullDST, full Raw: keep anything (expected to be useful for few detector-related studies only).

Full stripping reports

Complete stripping reports after testing over a larger number of events and using committed configuration dictionaries are shown here.

The timing of some lines have exceed the limits 1ms/evt, however, the timing here takes into account the time to create common particles. Those lines are checked individually and the result is fine.

  • Tested over 200k events (2016 data) using $STRIPPINGSELECTIONSROOT/tests/data/Reco16_Run182594.py (DaVinci v42r1)
