Checking performance at 76X Rereco MC and Data Samples

- Adding more high-mass conditions of DYJetsToLL MC samples in 76X version to reduce stat. error-bar.

- Evaluating trigger efficiency using Orthogonal datasets(MET) for cross-checking.

- Systematic Study(Cnt or alternate Fitting , different gen MC (poweg, madgraph, pythia) ...

Trigger Status and Plan for W'(ToENu) Search

Analysis of 2015 data (PAS EXO-15-006)
Electron Trigger Efficiency for a electron passing HEEP ID using TnP method.
Muon Trigger Efficiencies for high-pT used as established in Mu POG (Tag&Probe)https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/bin/view/CMS/MuonReferenceEffsRun2
Locally (in our analysis group) checked using orthogonal datasets (/SingleElectrons, /MET) on data and MC for both channel.

Current status
HLT Performance checking in 76X Rereco samples is being done. Working well in same paths (Plots are in Back-up.)

Run the repacker

Processing IMPORTANT STEP Processing

The HLT SW is being migrated to L1 Stage2 objects. However, this migration is not finished, and the L1 emulator cannot be run directly from the HLT config files yet. This means we cannot simulate directly the HLT (with the latest recipe) on top of RAW files directly, because the L1 objects produced by default are Stage1 objects for now.

Thus, an extra step is needed: run the repacker on top of the input RAW files and use the modified RAW contents somehow. The "./runAll.csh all" step is actually important, as it generates a repacker config file.

From the official HLT SW twiki: "Please note that you first have to process an old real-data RAW file through a cmsDriver-based L1REPACK:Full cmsRun job to make a new RAW file for input to the HLT cmsRun job. In case of MC, you need to use a GEN-SIM file and run a cmsDriver-based DIGI,L1,DIGI2RAW cmsRun job to make the RAW file. Currently it is not possible to run the full stage-2 L1T directly within the HLT in one go - the corresponding hltGetConfiguration options are not (yet) working for L1T stage-2."
