How can I revert back to a previous version of my document?

Web Browser: IE, Firefox
User Location: Internal
Categories: Version control

Answer

ALERT! If you answer a question - or have a question you asked answered by someone - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status is in a drop-down list below the edit box.

Here are the steps anyone can do:

  1. Look at the previous revision of the topic
  2. Append &raw=on to the URL
  3. Copy the text into the clipboard
  4. Go to to top revision of the document
  5. Edit the topic and replace its content with the clipboard content

An administrator (twtool.support@cernNOSPAMPLEASE.ch) can also roll back a revision.

This functionality is now available from the more topic actions found at the bottom of each page
