Question

I am using the latex plugin to get greek letters. This works very nicely on the page: TkLasSectorTest But when I do exactly the same thing on: TkLasSurvey I get funny latex error messges, claiming that a temporary file could not be found. Any idea what is going wrong? Cheers, Bruno

Answer

There are 2 methods for specifying latex.

As seen in the following example we can surround the latex code with

 % \ [ latexcode \ ] %

\[{\cal P} & = & \{f_1, f_2, \ldots, f_m\} {\cal C} & = & \{c_1, c_2, \ldots, c_m\} {\cal N} & = & \{n_1, n_2, \ldots, n_m\}\]

The code

  %\[{\cal P} & = & \{f_1, f_2, \ldots, f_m\} {\cal C} & = & \{c_1, c_2, \ldots, c_m\} {\cal N} & = & \{n_1, n_2, \ldots, n_m\}\]%

It seems that the latex tag option sometimes breaks and its unclear why we see this behaviour. Please try the other method. I will look into this further

Solution works fine, is even nicer than latex tags. Thanks a lot.

From https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/bin/view/TWiki/MathModePlugin: Note that the old notation using %$formula$% and %\[formula\]% is still supported but are deprecated.
