Minutes from the meeting 05.07.2011 present: - Martin Flechl - Markus Hauru - Sven Heinemeyer - Michael Kraemer - Sami Lehti (and his children :-) * sigma(tt): We decided that for now we will have to go with the theory evaluation of that cross section. We will use the numbers that are used by the ATLAS/CMS experimental (top) groups. We need the central values as well as the uncertainties. They consist of several parts: - parametric uncertainties (alpha_s, PDF, ...) - theory uncertainties (missing higher orders) We need these uncertainties separately in order to combine them (and others) in the way consistent with the Higgs working group. Action items: - Martin contacts the ATLAS tt group... - Sami contacts the CMS tt group... ... to obtain these numbers. * Delta_b: Sven provided the theory uncertainties for the Delta_b corrections entering Gamma(t -> H+b). Not done yet: theory uncertainties for BR(t -> H+b) Action item: - Sven will come up with a proposal We also have a rough estimate of the parametric uncertainties due to (anticipated) uncertainties on squark masses etc. We agreed that these uncertainties are not relevant right now. * H+ decays: Markus briefly summarized the status of his FeynHiggs-Hdecay comparison. The problem with the cs channel persist. However, for the current searches the tau nu channel is much more relevant, so we can proceed even if the problem in the cs channel is not solved (right now). Acition items: - Markus will plot a few more dependences on parameters. - Markus will try to find out about the higher-order corrections included in Hdecay (and how to switch them of to analyze their effect). - Sven will give details about the higher-order corrections included in FeynHiggs (and how to switch them of to analyze their effect). - Sven will provide a first estimate for the theory uncertainties on Gamma(H+ -> tau nu) and BR(H+ -> tau nu) * 2nd YR: Action item: - Martin will provide the skeleton draft till the next meeting * Next meeting: Wednesday, 13.07. 11.00h * overall goal: have uncertainties ready before the beginning of August.
