LHCb February CCRC08 Plans

Update - 25th February 2008

The stripping phase and the distribution of DST data to all T1 centres will not occur during the last 2 weeks February. If progress permits we would like to extend the challenge by a week to test this aspect.

The resource share still reflects the update given on 16th February. For completeness, the percentages for processing and RAW data storage are given in Table 1.

Data transfers are likely to continue for the whole week period at the full rate: 6 hours on 6 hours off to mimic the LHC operation.  From Wednesday afternoon (27th February) LHCb will attempt to reconstruct the data already distributed. Attempts over the weekend (23/24th February) revealed a number of data access issues that are currently being pursued with the sites prior to the re-launch of the reconstruction.
